Round Table Daybook Questions This assignment is somewhat similar to the rhetorical analysis that we previously did in the

semester. I fell like when I finish my Annotated Bibliography, I will be very prepared for this assignment, and will have some good sources to reflect off of. Citation is a term needed for this, because we need to be able to do intext citations. We will also have to have the skill to reflect on the similarities and differences of these sources. This assignment is different because we are exploring new paths of our line of inquiry that these sources have surfaced. I fell somewhat unprepared due to the fact that I havent ever taken these new paths into consideration, so they are new to me. The ability to explore new paths is an unfamiliar skill that I will use. I will also be writing in different voices. The restrictions are that it cannot look like your annotated bibliography, we are forced to look deeper into the subject matter. Also we cant just take info and use it, this project is primarily explorative. In this assignment, I can explore any new paths that I believe will surface information. I have the choice of the sources I want to use. In the research aspect, I am expected to make choices of who the voices are, why they are the voices, and who holds the viewpoint. The format is not negotiable. This assignment is designed to present information of different voices to different viewers from a round table format. The goals are to learn the different voices and where they stand on the line of inquiry. I see Ms. Douglas wanting as to see that there are different views and ideas. The purposes being communicated are the ability to write in conversation. I see Ms. Douglas valuing our learning of new voices and paths in our line of inquiry.
