Chris DiFrancesco 4-26-14 Senior Trans Exhibit- Work ethic Benchmark- Individuality Skills- #3

My sophomore year I developed something I never truly had before, a set work-ethic. I started working on Huntoon Farms, and fell in love with the farm work. To me hard work is crucial to be successful at all. I have talked to many Mechanical Engineerings and many said the same thing engineers are exposable in a slow time and I plan for my work ethic to help me not be exposable.

When I started working on the farm I realized that I never had to work that hard in my life, even in sports. At first I did not like the hard work but I knew if I kept trying after a while it would start to grow on me and Id love it. I have improved my work-ethic through high school while working on and off the farm and I was able to take that and apply it to my future career. Currently I am learning that the manufacturing environment is a fast-paced, stressful environment where hard work will for sure pay off.

I feel that if I didn't have the work ethic I have gained I wouldn't be where I am today. I would not have a job in my career field or a job at all. Through my work ethic I have gained two part time jobs, two sides jobs, and also have started volunteering. This will be extremely crucial for me when I get out of college because I will have much more experience than others my age. As an adult I will have to have to strive to make myself stand out of a crowd as I do now, and my work ethic will be an asset for me.
