AED Gentry 06 February 2014 Thanks to an ambitious Police Officer, Emorys campus has recently become a little bit

safer. Officer Dave McConnell has been heading up the movement to purchase new automated external defibrillators, or AEDs the past few months. News broke last week that the grant came through, and the college was able to purchase five machines. McConnell recognizes the importance of the new AEDs to campus.

If someone, you know, was to have a heart attack or any type of heart arrhythmia or issue that these AEDs could fix, it would mean the difference between life or death to somebody.
