Ask students what they believe the significance of Independence Day is. 2. Play Libertys Kids Episode: The First Fourth of July 3. Pause the video periodically to ask the students questions about the content. 4. Allow students to take notes during the video. Second Day 1. Introduce Kidspiration and play a short YouTube clip that provides an overview of how the program works. 2. Provide students with a word document that contains various websites with information regarding Independence Day 3. Using the websites and notes from the video students will create a timeline of events that lead to the first Independence Day. Materials Needed: One computer per student Kidspiration program
