Application
Floodlight for single or double-ended 1000 to 2000W high pressure sodium or metal halide lamps. Built-in housing for the starter and remote assembly for the rest of the control gear. Different optics available with internal glare control louvres. Sports lighting and extensive areas such as stadiums, recreational areas, airport aprons, racecourses, open-air car parks, etc. High-roofed large premises such as sports pavilions. For double-ended 2000W metal halide lamps or 1000W high pressure sodium and 2000W metal halide tubular lamps, with an E40 holder.

Technical specification
Housing & assembly Housing, rear door, and glass lens holder in die-cast aluminium, with a RAL 7038 grey polyester powder paint finish, following anti-corrosion priming, oven cured at 180C. Door in the rear of the housing offering access to the lamp, with electrical disconnection on opening. Lamp replacement without disturbing the floodlights aiming position. External screws in stainless steel. Box for housing the standard ignitor and terminal block, manufactured in glass fibre reinforced polyamide, is attached to the rear of the floodlight and has PG13.5 cable glands. The necessary ballasts and capacitors, or the instant hot restrike system, are remotely mounted. Internal aluminium louvre in the reflectors for glare control and reduction of sky-glow. Mounting via a steel trunnion, painted the same as the housing, with aiming degree indicator. The auxiliary control gear can be supplied mounted in a weatherproof box, on a tray or separate for mounting in a cabinet. Optics Aluminium reflectors with different photometric distributions, giving a rectangular beam with lamps using E40 holder and an oval beam with double-ended lamps. Effective projected area: 0.3m2. Front tempered glass lens in a cast aluminium frame, with a silicone gasket between the frame and the housing. Notes The standard version of this floodlight should not be installed at more than 140 degrees from the vertical. For greater inclinations or hot restrike systems (HR), please contact the factory.
