1. Since the beginning of time this country was founded on immigrants.

Without them the United States of America would not be the great country it is today or even exist. Immigrants have and always will be the backbone of our country. They helped build this country from the ground up with the sweat off their backs and one goal in mind. The dream of a nation where no matter your race, religion, affiliation, you would be free and build a life as a free and happy man. 2. We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. This is the preamble to the Declaration of Independence the core ideas that our nation was founded on. The idea that today we are denying a very large amount of people the chance at these very rights that are INALIENABLE endowed by their CREATOR is a crime against humanity. Immigration reform would not only fix an already broken system but, greatly aid a struggling economy of the United States.

3. In a time where the world seems to be on a delicate balance on the brink of economic disaster or war, having our domestic issues in order is a must. As a nation we must unite and work together to fix our economy, our debt, and our immigration system. The system today takes an individual ten plus years to simply have their application screened by the Immigration Agency. During which they make life and death decisions to cross and risk their lives at a small chance that they make it and further more attain work that will provide them with the coveted American dream. We as a nation have been blessed to not know the struggle that many of these people go through, so we have lost sight of what it means to them and that it is our responsibility to help those in need. Immigration Reform must happen in order to stabilize our nation as a whole or face never ending instability.
