Democracy
Citizens have the power and can choose their leader or leaders that govern their nation. YAY!!!

Also.
Freedoms are protected in a democracy since power is vested in the people!

Oligarchy
A group of rulers with all the power!

Unhappy citizens

Citizens have little to no power in an oligarchy.

Freedoms rarely do exist for the citizens.

Autocracy
One ruler with all the power! (dictator)

What is economics?
The wealth and resources of a country in terms of production and consumption of goods and services.

Economic Continuum
market and pure command. 0 Pure = 100% 0 Pure Market= ALL businesses are privately owned 0 Pure Command= ALL businesses are govt owned
0 All countries are somewhere between a pure

Mixed Economies
0 There is no such thing as PURE economies. 0 Countries reside somewhere along the continuum

and are mobile.
