Is Holden disrespectful?

Many adults hold the belief that teenagers just are not respectful. It is a common
complaint that teens do not respect themselves or the others around them, especially
their elders.

In Salingers Catcher in the Rye, Holden Caulfield can be argued to be the epitome of
