Reflection for Online-Debates

Due: 2/11/14
I thought the online debate was interesting. It definitel hel!s to see other !eo!le"s o!inion on the sub#ect.
$ersonall it !ro%ided &e with o!tions/ o!inions that I had not considered. I belie%e that this debate was
insightful and reall hel!ed &e de%elo! & ideas. I thin' acti%ities li'e this challenge our critical thin'ing
s'ills and that is what reall hel!ed &e define & beliefs and share & o!inions. (dditionall) I thin' on-line
debate is a good o!!ortunit for students *es!eciall students who do not li'e to s!ea' u! in class.+,ith
that being said) so&eti&es I find it frustrating to wor' online. I thin' in so&e as!ects it is harder to hold
!eo!le accountable and because of that !eo!le do not acco&!lish the tas's that are set out for the&. I do
not li'e when one !erson is e-!ected or stuc' with all of the wor'. .here is no /I0 in /.ea&.0
In the future I would use this 'nowledge to de%elo! & classroo&. I thin' it is i&!ortant to a!!eal to all
students and their learning stles. ,hat better wa to do that then incor!orate e%erthing I ha%e learned in
& education classes with & !eers. 1ust li'e our students will learn differentl) we learn differentl. I thin'
so&eti&es !eo!le forget that we are students too2 I %alue anthing I can learn fro& & !eers and
undergraduate stud and I can"t wait to !ut it into action.
