Significance: The U.S
Constitution plays a vital role in
the United States. Without it, the

wouldnt exist.
GEORGE WASHINGTON BECOMES
PRESIDENT APRIL 30, 1789
The First Inauguration of the United States occurs
George Washington is inaugurated President.

Significance: It is the start of the American
Presidency, where everyone else has kings and
queens. Mr. Washington decides the become

The Banjo Clock was invented by Simon Wilard from
Roxbury, Mass.
Significance: It was Americas first fully functional Clock.

AMPHIBIOUS VEHICLE -1805
This Amphibious Vehicle was invented in
1805 by Oliver Evans. He called his
invention, the Orukter Amphbolos.
Significance: It was Americas 1

MILLING MACHINE -1816
The milling machine is thought to have been
invented by Simeon North. It is a device used to
shape metal and other solid materials.
Significance: it gave workers a much easier way of
molding metal products.
FIRST PASSENGER ROAD
LOCOMOTIVE -1821

Significance: It was the start of
faster, move convenient
passenger transportation.
GRAHAM CRACKER -1829
The Graham Cracker was invented by a
Presbyterian Minister named, Sylvester Graham
due to his vegetarian diet.
Significance: It gave vegetarians another way
to fill them up. Although it was invented over
100 years ago, it is still enjoyed as a delectable
treat today.
ELECTRIC DOORBELL -1831
The electric doorbell was invented by Joseph Henry.
Significance: It made hearing people at the door a lot
easier. It also, like the graham cracker, is still used today.

GATLING GUN -1861
The Gatling Gun was invented by
Richard Gatling. A hand cranked
compliment of weaponry.
Significance: The Gatling Gun was the
start of Automatic Machine gun fire.
