The School Counselors role is to counsel
students, educate students and staff, work as a
teamwith students and parents/guardians to
resolve any issues that may arise, as well as
provide advocacy for students.
Why is it important for my childs school to
have a School Counselor?
It is imperative for your childs school to have
a School Counselor to assist your child with
moving forward from any circumstances that
may hinder his/her development.
Do all children have the opportunity to work
with the School Counselor?
All students will have the opportunity to work
with the School Counselor on an individual
basis or in a group/classroomsetting.
