Thirteen reasons why is not currently banned but is suddenly
undergoing a judgemental process after suddenly high rise in purchases and borrows, the book has been under some discussion now, but a decision has yet been decided. The most discussed and most arguable point by people is the suicide message it sends across to younger students, especially girls. The way the book sends the message can be quite disturbing and dangerous for girls that are On the edge and are the most common complaints the book receives. Another large complaint from people is that they believe the book should be raised into a higher aged group category as to not affect the younger students and cloud their judgement. The second and yet most mild complaints are about the small sexual references in the book, the discussion of photos and rumours really bothered some people and can ruin the book for them, they said that it heavily effect their friendships with people and how they treat others. As it stands the book is not banned and can be sold or borrowed out from and licensed store or school.
