Upcoming Counselor Events for Students and Families:

College Fair
Tuesday, May 6

from 6-8 pm in the Cafeteria
Students and families come out to meet representatives from over 50 4 year colleges
and universities, community colleges, and career opportunities! Local and national
colleges, Historically Black Colleges and Universities, and military recruiters will
be in attendance. Remember to ask the representatives questions and learn more
about all the different opportunities after graduation.

Multicultural Dinner
Friday, May 9
th
from 5 to 7 pm in the Cafeteria
Dogwood High School families are invited to come and share a dish representing a
country of your heritage. Please label your dish with the name of the food and the
country represented. Your dish should be enough for at least 15 people. Everyone
is invited to dress in clothing representing your familys heritage, if you would like.

Junior College Information Session
Thursday, May 22
nd
from 4:30 to 6 pm in the Auditorium
Students and parents or guardians come out to the Junior Information session.
Learn about what you need to be doing to prepare for the college application
process. Counselors will go over important topic and answer questions.
