Connecting Music With History
Most days when you walk into the classroom you hear some type of music playing.
Many songs you hear talk about historical events or social dilemmas that we discuss in class.
Music was a way for many artists to epress their discontent with events such as war! civil
rights! or corrupt governments.

can connect to our civil rights movement.
