Welcome New StaffGoodbye Dear Friends
The 2012-2013 school year has brought with it several staff changes. We would like to
welcome the following people into our school community: Mr. Kevin Dufresne
(Elementary Principal), Mr. Ryan Harp (Special Education Director), Ms. Ashley Gonser
(JAG Specialist), Ms. Ashley Murray (Athletic Director), and Ms. Randi Bowers-Payne
(Excent Tera Specialist).
We are thrilled to WELCOME BACK to full time positions: Ms. Melissa Hogan, Mrs.
Lisa Schelke, and Mrs. Barb Shepard. The staff and students could not be happier to have
you back with us. You were greatly missed.
Sadly, four of our dear friends and staff members have left us and taken positions with
other districts. We bid a fond farewell to Mrs. Britta Spitzley, Ms. Tiffany Talamonti, Mrs.
Heather Toomey, and Mrs. Laura Weiss. Those other districts are lucky to have you! We
would also like to extend our best wishes to Ms. Patsy Galvin as she enters into her
retirement years. You all are, and will continue to be, missed by our school community.

The Potterville Education Association Supports
OUR KIDS, OUR COMMUNITY
Our AMAZING Community

Once again the parents and community of Potterville have shown their amazing
support of our students and our school. On September 28
th
the PTA hosted the 1
st

annual Fitness Friday Fundraiser. This was an event where the kids got to
participate in many different forms of fitness including Zumba, Karate, Yoga, and
more. Many of the instructors were from our community and the friends and
families of the students contributed the pledge money. The PTA raised an
incredible amount of money with this FUN event.
Our community, parents, and staff will join together again for our annual Halloween
Carnival. The Carnival will be held on October 26
th
and runs from 6:00 to 8:30 PM.
This event is a TON of fun and provides a great opportunity for all of us to work
and have fun together. Plan on attending this great event!!!
