After reading this, I didnt really know what to think. Looking at the title, I thought this article
was going to be about hummingbirds. As I read the first paragraph, I still think this article is going to be
about hummingbirds. As I read on, I realized this article wasnt about hummingbirds at all. The article
goes on to talk about many different kinds of animals. He compares their hearts to many different
things. Doyle is very descriptive with this piece of writing. He uses descriptive language to emphasize
different sizes and shapes of different animals hearts. The main point of doing this was to tell about the
heart going through many hardships in life. Doyles last paragraph was kind of shocking, as he gets right
to the point and is harsh.
