The situation that I want to improve is the lack of communication and collaboration amongst teachers.

There is an
apprehension and reluctance to share lessons, student work, and data among the mathematics department members.
Teachers work in isolation and do not seek to work in a collaborative team. Collaboration is seen as a time consuming
process as well as a burden when there are other teaching responsibilities or expectations required by the school
administration.
