Creative Project (Poem)


A few weeks in
I came into class late
Not knowing, expecting to fall behind
Little did I know, my mind was full of the knowledge
Seeing that once familiar face
I was not alone.
With that support,
my creativity was going to be able to thrive
Creating stories was never a problem,
Rules and expectations,
length and word count always left me startled,
but I was sure that with my creative mind,
was going to end that quarrel.
No matter what subject or assignment,
I made sure my writings
persuasive and full of good content
Ive improved, yes I have.
Ive improved.
But theres no need to end that move
MLA format and grammar I have in the groove,
but for composing a thesis theres always room.
Managing things wisely mightve saved me time
So make sure to always keep in mind,
that procrastination can make you cry.
