Athletes cant get back in the game by themselves. It takes dedication and determination
from both the athlete who is hurt and the athletic trainer. To have a career in this field, people
must first understand what colleges are best to learn about the job, what athletic training really is,
and how much money an athletic trainer working for the NBA will make daily, monthly, and
yearly.
Before the job comes school. An education is one of the most important skills that anyone
needs for the job. Education requirements include a bachelor degree at minimum, doctorate
degree if desired, completion of a CAATE- accredited program, and passing the Board of
Certification exam. Those degrees and other educational credits can be accomplished by passing
college. The top two colleges and universities with athletic training graduate programs are
Pennsylvania State University and the University of Illinois. Both are a 4-year public university.
Masters and Doctoral degrees in athletic training are available from some of the country's top
universities like those. The top five highest-ranking schools with athletic training programs
include the two listed above University of Florida, Michigan state University, and the University
of Michigan. (Best Schools)

Most common injuries include knee, ankles, feet, fingers, wrist, elbows, shoulders, neck,
and even back. Trainers and coaches use the method of R.I.C.E ; rest, ice, compression, and
elevate when a player gets injured (Kettlekamp 59). Athletic Trainers relish the challenge of

universities, professional sports, sports medical clinics, physician offices, hospitals, military
bases, clinical and industrial health care programs and even performing arts companies. Athletic
training is a great career because it requires hands-on work, daily interaction and to travel

police officers. As kids get older they realizes being a pretty princess isnt an option for most of
them. A career in athletic training is more than just a job; people must first understand what

good especially for professional teams. Athletes cant get back in the game by themselves, so
