DAY OF THE DEAD, NOV 1
Day of the Dead (Da de Muertos) is a Mexican holiday celebrated
throughout Mexico and around the world in other cultures. The
holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and
remember friends and family members who have died. It is
particularly celebrated in Mexico where the day is a bank holiday.
CARNAVAL, MARCH 5
Carnaval is a festive season which occurs immediately before Lent;
the main events are usually during March. Carnaval typically involves
a public celebration or parade combining some elements of a circus,
mask and public street party.
