GPS BASED VECHILE SPEED CONTROL SYSTEM IN

SPECIAL ZONES

The GPS provides the best support for navigators by determining the users exact position on
earth using three co-ordinates accurately.This position of the vechile using a GPS unit can be
preciesly known in latitude,longitude & speed with accurate times & date,anywhere on the
planet at any time.
The project chosen is GPS based vechile speed control system in special
zones like schools & hospital zones.In this vechile is continiously monitored by GPS satellite.The
GPS receiver,which receives the info from the satellites,in our project is UTRACKER02.The
UTRACKER02 is chosen for the reason of its efficiency.It transmits data to the micro-controller
at a frequency of one 1HZ.
The micro-controller that receives data from the receiver serial.Micro-controller will
process the data received from the receiver & transmits the data parallel to a LCD for the
display of position.It compares with the predefined values of that area continiously.
If the co-ordinate values matches with the predefined values,automatically
the speed level of the vehicle will be maintained constant of the vechile will be maintained
constant in the area,though if the user tries to increase the speed.It is present in the program
with thehelp of GPS receiver we track in which area the user is in.
