A Life Worth Dying For

In The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd, the main character Lily says, People who think
dying is the worst thing dont know a thing about life. What is your response to this statement?

I think dying is a great thing for the person who dies in Christ. For to be absent from the body is
to be present with the Lord. I think it is much worse for those that are left behind to mourn. The
Bible teaches that we should rejoice at a death and cry at a birth. Again for the person who dies
in Christ, the ones left behind will miss them, but they also know that they will see them again if
they belong to Christ. It is much harder for those that dont know if the deceased was saved or
not.
