ABOUT RAIN WATER HARVESTING PROGRAME

OBJECTIVE:

PROPOSED RAIN WATER HARVESTING STRATEGY:

Roof top rain water is diverted to recharging through injection tube wells. Along with this,
excess rain water is treated with filtration system and use for other applications.

RWH SYSTEM DESIGN CONCEPT:

Rain falls in Chennai -1200mm.

Runoff coefficient -0.9

Collection efficiency -60%
