The law No Childs left behind is a initiative of the Gerorge W. Bush government intended
to promote better academic outcomes in children. Using standardized tests are looking
to get the best possible results and thus this receive federal school funding.
n the documentar! we see how the children through this standardized test feel
pressured and frightened about the e"pectations that teachers place in them. #imilarl!
teachers feel this pressure and an"iet!. The fact that such standardized tests do not
directl! measure the $ualit! of educi%n it ignores faculties and abilities that children can
have in other areas .
#chools lose resources to provide $ualit! education to deserving children& and this
responsibilit! falls on the same children who are the ones to ensure the success of this
educational s!stem obtaining good test results .
While resources for education should not he fall in 'ust the return results of a
standardized test & is perhaps the most effective wa! to ensure an acceptable level of
education& if the! are forming children with good academic performance & obtain good
results in a test should be simple & teachers can not shield under all these iseguridades &
the! must be guarantors of their professionalism and accept !our responsibilit! to know
how educate. (n the other hand this t!pe of testing can prepare children for their future
professional life when faced with a universit!
