Gregg Meyer, MD, has returned to Partners HealthCare as Chief Clinical Officer, as of
Jan. 21.

In the role, Meyer will oversee Partners system-wide quality and safety efforts,
population health management and Partners eCare.

Meyer most recently worked at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, where he was
chief clinical officer and executive vice president.


He also led Mass. General Hospital (MGH) and the Physicians Organization (MGPO)
quality and safety efforts as well as the care redesign initiatives to improve quality and
efficiency for common clinical conditions as senior vice president for the Edward P.
Lawrence Center for Quality and Safety.



Meyer is a graduate of Union College and Albany Medical College. He received his MD
from Oxford University, where he was a Rhodes Scholar. He holds an additional
masters degree from the Harvard School of Public Health. He is the author of more
than 150 articles, editorials, chapters and monographs and is board-certified in Internal
Medicine.
