Dear parents I would like to share with you the learning objectives for the KG 2 in May; They are as Follows:
Listening: Distinguishing between the same sounds of the Arabic words. Knowing new words according to its sounds. Analyses the word to syllables by clapping.
Conversation: Saying the new words that he/she learned in the conversation. Expressing his/her opinion of what did he/she see if like or dislike. Saying simple sentences that he/she using it in the school.
Reading: Using pictures to read the new words. Distinguishes between the short letters sounds (Alharakat). Distinguishes between the long letters sounds (Almodod: Mad Al-Alif- Alwaw - Aleaa). Reading a simple sentences contains of two or three words.
Writing: Practicing to write according to the standers. Drawing the letters correctly ( - - ) . Writing the letters with their three forms and in the words. Writing words and short sentences.
Unit of Inquiry: Naming these things: (The main materials: water air sand). Identify new words in the Unit of Inquiry "How the word works (The water turns to steam and becomes ice The sand turns to mud).
Dear Parents Using data collected from students in class and diagnostic tests, each student now has a list of next step to help them move forward in the development and acquisition of Arabic.
The Transdisciplinary skills of thy PYP program encourages meaningful connections across subject areas. Meaningful connections will made by using the same or similar vocabulary as the homeroom teachers.
