LAP JOINT Aim: To make a Lap joint using are welding ob the given workpieces. Mild steel plate of size 100 x 50 x 06 mm —2 Nos. Tools required: Power supply (AC/DC) Welding Torch Electrodes: Tongs Chipping harimer Wire brush Gloves Apron Shield 10, Safety gozeles 11, Earth Clamp eRe epbeee Sequence of Operations Edge preparation (Removal of rust, seale ete.. by fling) Tackis Welding Cooling Chipping Cleaning Pea po Working Procedure: 1.
