Dear Parents,

On April 25, 2014, we have planned a trip to Homewood Park.

The agenda for the day is to leave the school at 9:00a.m. We will arrive at Homewood Park around
9:20a.m. stay for lunch, and leave around 12:10p.m. to arrive back to the school by 12:30p.m. Lunch will be
provided by the school (for parents too) and we will eat around 11:30. I will ask that you be sure that your
child does not bring any valuable items or electronics on this trip.

After studying Christopher Columbus and his impact on exploration, the students will have the
opportunity to take on the role of the explorer and have Columbuss exploration process as a guide to
navigate through Homewood Park! Due to the exploration factor of the trip, I am going to need three parent
chaperones to accompany us on our voyage! If you would like to volunteer, please fill out the attached form
and send it with your child along with the permission slip! Please have the bottom half filled out and returned
to me by Wednesday, April 23, 2014!
