Dear Year 3-4 Families,

As we start the new term, I would like to take the opportunity to

introduce myself. My name is Elissa Beadle and I am a student teacher
from Wisconsin, United States of America. I am thrilled at the
opportunity to be in New Zealand and I have just finished teaching Year
7-8 at NaeNae Intermediate. I am very excited to begin work this term with your son/daughter.
I will be in classroom 4 every day until June 6
th
when I depart to return to America. I will
have sole charge of the class during week 3 and 4 of this term. Throughout this term, we are
discussing ways to keep ourselves safe and week 3 is no exception. It is National Road Safety
Week and we will be discussing ways to be safe on the road. Week 4 is science week and
hopefully that week goes off without a bang!
I am ready to begin this term and start the learning! If you have any question or would
like to talk to me for any reason, I can be reached through Ms. Skippers or you can stop by
classroom 4 and see me.
