Coca doodle doo, the sun begins to rise over Julies farm.

She climbs out of bed to look out her window, the chickens
are beginning to come out of their roost, and the horses
are lined up at the fence waiting to be fed. Its the first day
of summer, all the grass is green, trees are full apple buds,
and the pond is calling for her to go swimming, but not
before a hard days work. Julie, throws her brown hair in a
bun, and puts on her coveralls, not her favorite outfit but
why ruin good cloths on feeding animals. With her skin
tanned from working on the farm all spring there her skin
already matches her soft brown eyes. s she slides down
the railing on stairs the pond was still in her mind.
Something about the pond constantly called to her, she
swears she hears voices coming from the trees on the
other side. !oday chores will be done "uickly and she will find out #ust whats calling out to her.
As time flew by, Julie was done
with all her chores and ready to
head to the beautiful blue pond.
She ran over to her friends house
Cece and told her to tag along for
a refreshing swim. Julie and Cece
began to race down to the pond
and jumped right in without
hesitation. An hour went by when
they suddenly heard soft chatter
from behind the trees. Julie
called out to see if anyone was
around them, but there was no
response. The two girls decided
to dry up and wal towards the
trees and again they head the
voices. There were three little
creatures that were the si!e of an
apple frightened by their presence. Julie and Cece were very ama!ed, yet afraid of these little
creatures they have never seen before. The furry creature an"iously introduced himself as #eo
along with his family members. $e e"plained the entire story of how his family was cursed and
needed to find a purple apple hidden beneath a roc shaped lie a triangle with a blac circle in
the middle. They have to tae a single bite of the apple in order to become human again. #eo
found the first clue and showed the girls saying he cant read which why they were stuc by the
pond in the first place. The girls without a doubt agreed to the search and read the clue to help
the little creatures.
As soon as Geo gave the clue to Julie and Cece, they
began to read it. The girls first read the clue to
themselves, while also looking around at the scenery.
After reading to themselves, they reread it but this time
aloud. The clue said In order to become human again, you
must find your way around the ond to the other side of the
mountain. If you make it to the other side of the mountain,
the urle ale will be in lain sight under the triangle rock.!
Geo"s family members instantly were filled with #oy, because they
knew it wouldn"t be long until they were humans once again. $owever, Geo was not
as e%cited as his family members because he knew how hard it would be to go get
to the other side. The girls noticed the creature"s reactions, including Geo"s. The
girls &uickly started to encourage all of them to think of ways how to get assed the
mountain. Cece"s idea was to walk around the ond in order to get to the other side
of the mountain. Cece"s idea sounded fantastic at the time, so everyone set out to
start the #ourney of walking around the ond. 'ive minutes after they began
walking, the three little creatures &uickly became tired, because they were trying to
kee u with the girls. There legs were much shorter then Julie"s and Cece"s. They
&uickly reali(ed walking was going to take much longer then they had time for. This
is when Julie suggested that Cece and her should ut the little creatures on their
back and swim across the ond. After all, Cece and Julie were avid swimmers, and
could easily swim across without being tired. Geo and his family were at first a little
frightened by the idea, but they knew it was one of the best otions. Julie carried
Geo on her back, while Cece carried the family members. They &uickly got into the
water, and set off to swim across the ond. After ten minutes of swimming, the girls
were beginning to become tired of swimming. $owever, they were determined to
reach the other side, esecially since they would get there in a few more minutes.
As the minutes went by, Julie along with Cece arrived to the other side of the ond.
Geo and his family were soaked and were anicking because they were scared they
would fall off and get lost in the ond. Julie and Cece &uickly let the creatures down
from their backs, and began to find the rock. After
a few stes, the rock was clearly in sight #ust as
the clue stated. Julie and Cece were ama(ed
because they had never seen the creatures run as
fast as they did. Geo and his family lifted the
rock off the ale, and began to take a bite from
that ale. After each one had a turn, they
looked at each other to see if they started to
grow. After about ) minutes of staring, they
become humans again. Julie and Cece were
astonished and were left seechless. Geo
thanked them for taking them across the ond,
and challenged them to a swim race back. All ) of them got into the ond and had a
contest all the way back to the other side. Julie beat everyone, because she was
always swimming. *hen they returned, the sun was beginning to come down, so it
was time to say good+bye to their new friends. ,nce again, Geo and his family
thanked these kind girls and gave them a hug. After the e%change of hugs, Julie
&uickly ran home to shower, while the others also went home. Julie was hay she
was able to hel those little creatures, and she now had - more friends.
