To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing this letter on behalf of Erica Geeting. I have been Ms. Geeting's Classroom Mentor
Teacher since January 2014. In her role as Student Teacher, she has shown great strengths in
many aspects.
Ms. Geeting has an excellent base of knowledge and practice in curriculum. Her lesson plans
are early, she makes her lessons interesting, and she works at improving herself. She has also
shown strength in assessment. Her assessments are differentiated and valid. She aligns the
content of the assessment with what she taught in class and the standards.
Ms. Geeting has been involved in engagement of families by offering afterschool tutoring to two
struggling students. She offered the service free of charge and is taking this responsibility
seriously.
Ms. Geeting has the professionalism of a veteran teacher. She is always poised, well dressed,
respectful, and on time. Ms. Geeting also wants to teach. She wants as many teaching hours
as she can get. She loves being the facilitator of learning in class.
I would highly recommend Ms. Geeting as a Distinguished Teacher Candidate. I would be
grateful if she was my childs teacher. She deserves to be awarded for going above and
beyond her duties.
