There are many ways that opening scene from the film of Patton reflects the otherstories
is that they all relate to each other they all connect the same In some way. The first story: On
Glory In Warfare, is just saying why people go to war. The Patton side is when men go to the
military and they are being talked to and given advice on why they are there. People that they are
there are to think and believe that that they are there to fight for their loved ones, to defend what
Is their and also for their country. In a way when people are sent to war, they are to be
manipulated and programmed to do as they are told.
I would argue and say that Americans hold these ideals in high regards today because.
War is still the same now a day. The only difference is that we have a bigger better army with
advanced technology. We consider our men that go out and fight for our country as heroes.They
re still manipulated to fight for what they believe for, for their loved ones.
To my conclusion the author is mostly being informative with the historical part of war
history. He is trying to possibly persuade us to think war is good its to fight for your rights. Our
people go through a lot at battle and wants us to recognize that and have full respect for that.
