Beetroot membranes start to denature at a temperature of 30oC. The more you increase the temperature of the water the more the membrane is going to denature.

At What Temperature do Membrane proteins Denature?
Hypothesis: -Membrane proteins will denature at a temperature of 25C -The membrane proteins will not denature -Only the membrane at the highest temperature will denature.
Results To classify the results, we created a scale that went from 1 to 5. 1 being that the water was completely clear and 5 being that the water were completely red. The results were as following:
Temperature (C) Color (scale 1-5) Cold 1 20 1 30 2 50 5

Conclusion: After analyzing the results we can conclude that beetroot membranes start to denature at a temperature of 30C. We can also observe that the more you increase the temperature of the water the more the membrane is going to denature. 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 0 10 20 30 40 50 60 C o l o u r
