Pride Sample/Visual
Something that Im proud of is the time when I was an altar server for five years. I altar served at
St.Patricks with my sister. I love to part of my church and it made my mom happy that I did it.
At first I was doing it for my mom then I was doing it for me, god, and the community. It felt
good was a beautiful experience I would never forget. I was setting a good example for the
others kids at the church. It will make me confident and it was nice to hear good compliments
from people I didnt know and did know. My uncle will always going to and see me and tell me I
did a good, my aunts will always want their kids to do it too but they were embarrassed and shy.
We will have meetings twice a month and have fundraisers. Through the process you will meet
new people and become friends we also took field trips to Santa Cruz.Since my sister and I were
doing it for a long time we will teach the other kids and it felt good to know they looked up to us
and liked us. When I have kids of my own I would tell them that I altar served and I would love
them to do it as well. They once had a big mass for all the altar servers and they gave you
diploma and thanked us for helping the church. Being an altar server was a really good time and
maybe one day I can go back and be an altar server again.
