learned about this opportunity from my neighbor, Bob Jones who has had his electronics repaired at
your business. Mr. Jones has told me of the quality and professional care of his electronics at your
company. I believe that my skills and personal traits make me an excellent candidate for this position.

As you will see on my enclosed resume, I completed the Computer Support class at the ERESA Career
Preparation Center during my junior year of high school. As a part of the class I was exposed to several
areas within the IT field where I learned a variety of tasks related to repair, service and troubleshooting.
This experience has given me the confidence that a career in the field of computer technology is the
right one for me. I plan to continue my education at Lansing Community College.
