th grade math class for the past four months. Jamie has helped in one section of regular math, one section of inclusion math with a co-teacher, and three sections of Pre-AP math. The unit that she taught involved finding the surface area and volume of three dimensional shapes with and without models. While teaching this unit she was responsible for lesson plans, daily teaching using the common core curriculum, and discipline of all the classes. Jamie has shown herself to be a very competent and enthusiastic person. She completes task on or before the due time, with swift reliable accuracy. She is always willing to take on new assignments, working well with others in order to finish the job. Jamie adjusts to changes well even on a moments notice. With a degree in secondary math Jamie has a deep understanding of the math curriculum. She uses this understanding to guide the students to a deeper understanding of why the math works to solve problems. She has also demonstrated the patience to reteach when needed and to adjust to the different learning styles that are found in a classroom full of 7 th graders. I feel that Jamie will be an asset to the school that hires her as a teacher. She will be that teacher that gives 110% in the classroom and at her other duties too.
