CONTENT STANDARDS : By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to :
1.1 pronounce words and speak confidently with the correct stress,
rhythm and intonation.
2.1 apply knowledge of sounds of letters to recognize words in
linear and non-linear texts.
3.1 form letters and words in neat legible print including cursive
writing.
LEARNING STANDARDS : 1.1.1 (g), 2.1.2 (a), 2.1.3, 3.1.2
OBJECTIVES : By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to :
(i) listen and respond to oral blending and segmenting.
(ii) blend two to four phonemes into recognizable words and read
them aloud.
(iii) copy and write words in neat legible print.
ACTIVITIES : (i) Pupils circle the correct words.
(ii) Pupils colour the correct words.
