Coach Course Level 2

Introduction
British Taekwondo is proud to announce the launch of its flagship Coach Course Level 2 project.
Following a very successful pilot course in 2013, we are now able to host the first official
course.
We hope you will see this as a part of your own personal development, and more importantly
as a personal legacy for your Clubs growth and sustainability.
Upon completing the course and the required elements of coursework that form part of the
qualification, you will be presented with a Level 2 Qualification Certificate by British
Taekwondo.
There are 20 places available on each course, which will be secured on a first come, first
served basis. So, if you can commit to the dates, please complete the information and
application form attached.
We very much look forward to working with you on what we hope you will agree, is one of the
most important projects ever undertaken within our art and sport.

We are pleased to advise all coaches that many County Sports Partnerships have bursaries to
help pay for some, if not all, of the cost of this Coach Course. So as we can advise you of you of

Master Gary Sykes:
I think the course actually really took me out of my comfort zone. As an experienced coach, I
learnt lots of new things. Id say its important for any coach to attend, as the key in Taekwondo
today is to move forward with it. I found it so beneficial.

Master Neil Guest:
It was really very informative. It was certainly something we havent had in the system before.
The old course was more health and safety based alone, where as this one really focused on
instructing. It really is a good thing for any coach to be involved in.

I thought the course was very educational. Speaking as a coach who has been doing this many
years I learnt new things, things I wouldnt have normally picked up on. I also gave me the
chance to review my own teaching and practice, allowing me to improve even more

Please note that candidates attending this course will need to attend all three days and there
is some post-course paperwork to complete including theory tasks, planning and delivering a
series of coaching sessions. If you have any questions about attending this course please

Course Costs: 265 - We are pleased to advise all coaches that many County Sports
Partnerships (CSPs) have bursaries to help pay for some, if not all, of the cost of this
