It is my great pleasure to recommend Ms. Rachel Ludwig as a member of your teaching
faculty. Ms. Ludwig is an exceptional student and one with a bright future in the field of
education.

Ms. Ludwig was a student in my Literacy Development class during the fall semester of
2013. Her focus and determination were among the qualities that made her stand out as an
excellent student. She was eager to learn and her dedication to her classwork is a quality that
went beyond the average student. Her assignments were always submitted on time and to the
exact specifications required. More importantly, her lesson plans were thoughtful and well-
written. Additionally, Ms. Ludwig showed a level of excellence in terms of learning new
information beyond course expectations and she went above and beyond to share her newly
acquired knowledge with her peers as well as her professor. Consequently, Ms. Ludwig
demonstrated leadership and commitment to her role as a pre-service teacher that earned her
the respect of her peers and colleagues.
