Big news in the world of late night television. The Late Shows 31 year veteran host David Letterman is
retiring. CBS announced in a tweet that the new host of the Late Show will be Stephen Colbert. With
Letterman announcing his retirement, many had no idea who the new host would be. Stephen Colbert is
famous for his work with The Daily Show and of courses his own show, The Colbert Report.

One The Late Show fan is welcoming the change with open arms.

I think Stephen is going to make a great host. He has a very great sense of humor. He even looks like
Letterman.

Another fan was skeptical of the change, but will wait to see until she makes a decision.

Letterman has been doing such a great job with the show that I cant see anyone replacing him. I dont
even know who Stephen Colbert is?

Many people are sad to see Letterman go, but after 31 years with the show, the man deserves his break.
Stephen Colbert is definitely ready for the promotion, and I think we could all use some exciting change.
