Sodium carbonate is a very common compound. It is found in everyday life and has many uses.

It is
usually found in a white powdery substance. You can make sodium carbonate in many different ways.
Some ways you can make it are with sodium bicarbonate and nitric acid but the way I made it was with
cupric carbonate and sodium hydroxide. Even though it didnt turn out white I know it was sodium
carbonate because I used an equation to check.
