Throw When speaking of a control surface such as an elevator or aileron) , the throw is the
distance the surface m oves. C ontrol surface throw is usually m easured at the trailing edge of the
surface and is expressed in inches or m illim eters. The m odel in the diagram has 1 /2 " [1 3 m m ]
of up elevator throw. Throw can also refer to the distance a servo arm or wheel travels.

Exponent ial N orm ally, servos respond proportionally to control stick input from the transm itter e.g., if the stick is m oved halfway,
the servo will m ove halfway) . H owever, with exponential, the servo can be m ade to m ove m ore or less than initial stick m ovem ent

by your flight instructor or R /C club) will be required. When two radios are connected with the trainer cord, they are both capable of

The receiver frequency m ay be changed as long as it rem ains within the low and high band frequency range. If your receiver is
on any channel from 1 1 through 3 5 , it is a low band receiver and the frequency m ay be changed to any other channel from 1 1
through 3 5 without having to perform any other service. S im ply purchase a crystal on the desired channel, then replace the existing
crystal in your receiver with the new one. If your receiver is on any channel from 3 6 through 6 0 , it is a high band receiver and the
