Year 6 Class Bulletin
Autumn Term November 2009

Dear Parents / Carers,

I am very excited about this term as we have lots to get through and many activities
arranged. Below is a calendar of events for your information:

Tuesday 10th: Anti Bullying Workshop with THE FUTURE THEATRE COMPANY
Thursday 12th: Cultural Day and evening Disco
Tuesday 17th: Anti Bullying production by THE FUTURE THEATRE COMPANY
Thursday 19th: A Roman Case Study Drama Workshop
Friday 27th: St Andrew’s Day Workshops
Friday 4th: Southwark Cathedral afternoon trip-RELIGION IN ROMAN BRITAIN
Tuesday 8th: Class Collective Worship
Friday 11th: Science Museum Trip

As you can see it is going to be a busy term! The children are enjoying their work on the Romans
and are doing well with their projects. I continue to push the importance of reading and mental
maths in the class and appreciate your support at home on these subjects. Please make sure your
children are reading independently and know their multiplications and number bonds by heart.
