Honey and chilli glazed chicken wings
with broccoli rice

INGREDIENTS
125ml (1/2 cup) blue gum honey
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
12 (about 700g) chicken wings
250g (1 1/4 cups) jasmine rice
1 bunch broccoli stems removed, florets chopped

Method Notes
Step 1
Preheat oven to 220C. Line a baking tray with non-stick baking paper.
Combine the honey, soy sauce and cayenne pepper in a large bowl. Add the
chicken and toss to evenly coat. Set aside for 5 minutes to marinate. Place on
the prepared baking tray. Bake on the top shelf in the preheated oven for 20
minutes, occasionally brushing with pan juices.
Step 2
Meanwhile, cook the rice following packet directions until tender (approx 15
min). Add the broccoli 2 minutes before the end of cooking. Drain well and
return to the pan. Season with salt. Divide broccoli rice among serving bowls
and top with glazed chicken wings.
