Fun with Electronics

Discover the Thrill of “Electronics Enrichment Programme ” (Single-session Workshop)


To create awareness & creativity among participants, in an innovative and fun manner, of the application and importance of
electronics in today’s E-world. A lot of hands-on, where participants construct electronic gizmos and learn basic
microcontroller programming to control them.

Best of all, the activities is structured such that the participants can enjoy making interesting electronics circuits &
programming without any prior engineering knowledge.

 Time: 9.30am – 12.30pm Fee: $10 (member / non-member)

 Materials fee to be paid to trainer: $25 ( includes electronics components, PCB circuit board, Microcontroller chips,
course notes, Soldering materials, etc)

About the Trainer: Mr Peter Yuen is an ex-MOE, NIE-trained educator with years of Electrical / Electronics industrial working experience. He holds
an Honours Degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering. Since young, he has been building electronic kits as a hobby and has been very skilful both in
soldering & wire wrapping technique. During his career with MOE, he has participated in numerous competition, performance and winning awards due to his
proficiency in Electrical / Electronics background.
His team of students trained under him has appeared on Channel NewsAsia, SPH STOMP and other public competition which earned him awards such as
Staff Outstanding Contribution Award & Teacher’s Recognition Award by MOE.
With his years of lecturing & teaching teenagers & adults of all levels, he is able to engross his audience with interesting presentations and hands-on projects.
As such, he wanted to share his passion in electronics in a fun yet knowledgeable & creative way. ☺
