This is the blog of Mufti Zakaria Makada (Hafizahullah) who is currently a senior lecturer in the science of Hadith and Fiqh at Madrasah Ta'leemuddeen, Isipingo Beach, South Africa. He graduated as an Aalim from Darul Uloom Taleemuddeen in the year 1998. He thereafter decided to pursue the study of the science of Iftaa (issuing fataawa) under the tutorage of qualified scholars viz. Mufti Ebrahim Salajee (Hafizahullah) (principal and head mufti of Darul Uloom Taleemuddeen, Isipingo Beach), Mufti Ebrahim Desai (Hafizahullah) (head of Darul Iftaa Mahmoodiyya) and Mufti Qaadhi Sayyid Abdul Jaleel (Hafizahullah). Mufti Saheb is also actively involved in the Ifta department as well as training students in the science of Iftaa (issuing Islamic rulings).
