Hazrat Shaikh (Rahmatullahi Alaihi) once mentioned:

incident through 'hich 'e may %e a%le to under#tand thi# point. Appro+imately ,- year# ago& the $ir#t
.a%ligh /amaat le$t $or 0a%ul. *t i# my ha%it that 'hene"er a /amaat return# * look $or'ard to hearing
the detail# o$ their trip. 1e"erthele##& 'hen the /amaat returned& they in$ormed u# that during the trip
the $ood #upply 'a# depleted $or a num%er o$ day# and the only $ood they 'ere a%le to o%tain 'a#
grape# and #ome other $ruit#. .hey mentioned that $or 4 aana2# (3/4 o$ a rupee) they 'ere a%le to
purcha#e t'o kilogram# o$ grape#. 1o' ponder& that in a place 'here grape# are $ound in #uch
a%undance at #uch a cheap price& do you think the people in that area 'ill appreciate and "alue it? .he
le##on 'e learn $rom thi# i# that 'here"er #omething i# $ound in a%undance& it i# generally not
appreciated. )n the contrary i$ #omething i# "ery #carce in a place& then great importance i# attached to
it and it i# immen#ely "alued. *n the #ame "ein& 'e #hould under#tand that the trea#ure# o$ Allah .a2ala
are unlimited and there i# nothing that i# #hort in the trea#ure# o$ Allah .a2ala. Ho'e"er& the only thing
that Allah .a2ala doe# not po##e## in Hi# trea#ure# i# humility and 'eakne##. Allah .a2ala i# the greate#t
and there i# no 'eakne## 'ithin Him. All pride and greatne## %elong# to Allah .a2ala alone. .here$ore
'hen a #er"ant hum%le# him#el$ %e$ore Allah .a2ala (i.e. he regard# him#el$ a# in#igni$icant and he
$ul$il# e"ery command o$ Allah .a2ala)& Allah .a2ala greatly appreciate# it. .o the e+tent that a per#on
lo'er# him#el$& Allah .a2ala 'ill ele"ate hi# #tatu# and rank. 5"ery per#on #hould take time to ponder
and re$lect o"er thi#. *t i# reported that 1a%i (Sallallahu Alaihi !a#allam) mentioned:
