Learning Expectation: I identify and classify a polygon according its characteristics.

Activity 1: Answer the following questions using the information from P.518 to 520: What is a plane figure? What
do the plane figures have? What is a polygon? What is a regular polygon? Make a table showing the name of the
polygons according to their sides. Draw two examples for each kind of polygons from the table. How the
triangles are classified? Draw one example of each kind of triangle. What is a right triangle? Draw the parts of a
right triangle. Define and draw one example of parallelogram, rectangle, square, rhombus, and trapezoid.










Activity 2: Copy and solve the following exercises - C: P.523 Ex 1 to 14 - A: P.523 Ex 9 to 20 - M: Choose one of
these, draw it in a cardboard and explain it to your classmates -Table of P.518 and examples -How the triangles
are classified according their sides P.519, and examples -Definition and examples of quadrilaterals, P.520.
