!Bienvenidos al curso de Espaol! Welcome to Spanish Class!
Course Description:
This course is an introduction to understanding, speaking, reading and writing
Spanish. The overall, course objective is to provide students with a working
knowledge of the basic Spanish, through a series of culminating units and lessons.
Additionally, students will learn short situational phrases to produce and build
conversational confidence and skills.
Course Goals/Objectives
Understand basic Spanish vocabulary
Interpret predictable questions/command in familiar topic areas.
Use language for personal communication (i.e. ask/answer question in the target
language)
Conjugate Spanish in the present and past tense.
Demonstrate familiarity with general aspects of Latin culture.
Attendance Is crucial for success in this course. The attendance policy of PACE Academy will be
enforced. Student must be in class on time and prepared to work. If you are absent, it is your
responsibility to obtain missed assinments and notes.
Students participatin in E!tra Curriculum Acti"ities #i.e. $ifted and Talented, Strin Instruments,
Tutorin, etc.% are re&uired'responsible for assinments missed durin Spanish class.
