GEORGE CLOONEY

George Clooney has been an artist since he was born. His father, Nick
Clooney, was a very popular television presenter and his mother was
the politician NinaWarren and Ada is his sister, and she is older than
him. There are some artists in his family, like his uncle Jose Ferrer,
who won an Oscar in 1950 and his cousins Miguel and Gabe Ferrer
and his aunt Rosemary Clooney, actress and singer. When he was
young he wanted to be a professional baseball player but he couldn´t
make that dream true. He discovered the cinema with the help of his
uncle Jose, he made a little film, then he was working as a secondary
actor in some series of television. He managed to be the best paid
actor. In 1990, he worked in Urgencias, a very popular series and he
became a star in Hollywood. Since then, a lot of directors have offered
him to do films like ``From Dusk Till Dawn´´, his first big film, a
thriller about vampires with Quentin Tarantino in 1995. Clooney has
been consolidated as a great star of Hollywood because of his
attractive, his talent and his solidarity. He and Steven Soderbergh
have done ``Welcome to Collinwood´´, Insomnia and Solaris. George
Clooney has made some films as director, one is ``Confessions of a
Dangerous Min´´, he was nominated in 2005 for an Oscar for the film
``Good night, and good luck´´ but he didn´t win, he won an Oscar for
Syriana. Clooney has made his début as a director with Confessions of
a dangerous mind. He married Taila Balsam in 1989, whom he
divorced in 1992. Conscious of his good excellence, he has installed a
company of Advising image, where he took many people, such as the
president of the USA Barack Obama, as clients. He won several prizes
among them one Oscar and three golden globes.
